Latest Surveys

Our survey aims to measure the services received both by beneficial owners and from their agent lenders. This is the fifth year in which this survey has run in its solitary form. Previously, it was part of our annual Global Custody Survey. This year 190 responses were received on behalf of 18 providers. This is compared to 153 that were received last year. And from that database we collected enough information to rate eight separate service providers.

In addition to a series of profiling questions designed to improve our understanding of the respondents, the survey questionnaire consisted of 33 questions in nine service categories: Earnings Performance, Risk Management, Relationship Management, Collateral Management (newly added this year), Client Service, Product Development, Reporting, Operational Capabilities, and Compliance with Client Guidelines

Once again, our survey, which aims to measure the services received by clients of tri-party securities financing, continues to grow. In its 12th year of existence, the survey this year collected a total of 243 authenticated responses compared with 213 received last year, representing roughly a 15% increase.

Ratings and the accompanying Best in Class (BIC) awards are based on completed questionnaires submitted by respondents, who are asked to rate their service provider on 35 separate questions across six areas, which included Costs, Servicing and Value-Added; Business Model; Collateral Optimization; Operational Efficiency; Collateral Management and Monitoring; and Reporting and Communications.
